Author Launches Gourmet Food Website Run by Mystery Series’ Heroine-Detectives
The fictional Three Angels Gourmet Co. becomes reality in a new web-based venture. The “actual” business sells its “heavenly gourmet mixes” to specialty food stores, gift shops, and individuals throughout the United States.

[ClickPress, Sun May 20 2007] Author Suzanne Lieurance has created virtual characters to run the Three Angels Gourmet Co., and to distribute its gourmet dip, cookie and scone mixes via the Web. The new venture is the perfect outlet for Lieurance to creatively combine her two great passions – writing and food.

Lieurance established Three Angels in 2001 to help “people on the go” enjoy high quality, delicious dips and baked goods. Each mix provides the dry ingredients required for the recipe, making preparation fast and painless. For the company’s most popular product – Divine Dill Dip Mix – just add sour cream, stir, and chill for a few hours before serving. For the baked goods, preheat the oven, prepare the mix, and fill the appropriate baking dish. It couldn’t be easier.

“As the actual owner of a gourmet food business and a freelance writer,” explains Lieurance, “I thought it might be fun to create some virtual characters to run the Three Angels Gourmet Co. online. So, I made up the town of Seven Cedars, Florida. And Ireland Reynolds, Daisy Benson, and Delphine Gray were born to run the online division of the business.”

Three Angels’ offerings include Divine Dill Dip Mix, Sun-Blessed Tomato Herb Dip Mix, Heavenly Jar Bar Mix, a sugar cookie mix, and several varieties of scone mixes. Ireland Reynolds, the “virtual” chef behind these culinary creations also regularly offers additional recipes and serving suggestions on the site, while Daisy Benson suggests “gotta have” kitchen gadgets, and Delphine Gray gives “fabulous” food tips for readers to try at home.

In keeping with the creative spirit of her venture, Lieurance will sponsor a monthly Culinary Mini-Mystery Contest. Readers are invited to submit their own culinary mini-mystery based on the Three Angels Gourmet Co. and the lives of Ireland, Daisy, and Delphine. A brief biography of the trio is available at the website, and each mystery must contain food tips or recipes. Each month’s winner will receive a box of gourmet goodies from the angels, and their story will be converted into an e-book and featured online at the Three Angels Gourmet Co.

Suzanne Lieurance is a freelance writer, children’s author, speaker, and The Working Writer’s Coach (www.workingwriterscoach.com). She has written over a dozen books for children that are presently on the market, and has completed work on the first novel in a culinary mystery series based on the Three Angels Gourmet Co.’s virtual owners. Lieurance is a former regional advisor for the Society of Children’s Book Writers & Illustrators, and founder, director, and coaching coordinator for the National Writing for Children Center, home of the Children’s Writers Coaching Club at http://www.writingforchildrencenter.com

Three Angels Gourmet Co. Is Happy to Think “Inside” the Box
Missouri-made products to be showcased in convenient gift boxes.

(PRWEB) August 15, 2005 — The Three Angels Gourmet Co. is among a select group of Missouri-based food companies whose owners are happy to think “inside” the box for a change. That’s because this particular box is a gift box called Taste the Best of Missouri and will include at least one best-selling food product from each of these selected businesses. The Taste the Best of Missouri gift box is an AgriMissouri affiliated program that began in 2003.

“We’re very pleased that our Heavenly Jam Bar Mix was chosen for this year’s gift box,” says AgriMissouri member and Three Angels Gourmet Co. owner, Suzanne Lieurance, “because we think it is one of the best Missouri-made food products on the market today and we want everyone to know about it. And while I like to be innovative and think outside the box most of the time, this is one instance when thinking ‘inside’ the box, so to speak, is very exciting.”

Taste the Best of Missouri gift boxes will be available in two sizes later this month, priced at $35.00 and $50.00 and can be ordered at www.tastethebestofmissouri.com or by calling 1-800-241-0070. The attractive boxes are black with gold lettering and are shaped like the state of Missouri.

The Three Angels Gourmet Co. produces a line of “heavenly gourmet mixes” sold in gourmet food stores, gift shops, and other fine stores across the country. For more information, or to place an order, call 816-361-4103.

Three Angels Gourmet Co. Blogs For Business
“Foodies” everywhere can now get daily food tips and other helpful information online from the Three Angels Gourmet Co.

(PRWEB) June 15, 2005 — The Three Angels Gourmet Co. is reaching out to customers and “foodies” everywhere through its new food blog. The blog includes a daily food tip (usually with a photo), as well as product specials, recipes, and even a listing of trade shows where wholesale buyers can purchase Three Angels Gourmet Co. products in the coming months.

“A blog (short for Weblog) does not have to be a personal journal,” says Three Angels Gourmet Co. owner, Suzanne Lieurance. “All sorts of companies are now blogging for business. It’s an excellent way to reach out to customers on a daily basis and also get their feedback about your products and services. But all the information on our blog is not about our business. We offer general food tips, links to our favorite kitchen products and cookbooks that readers can purchase online, as well as links to other helpful food articles, and gourmet products and services.

“A few weeks ago, our blog included a sampling schedule of the prepared foods we would have available at the recent Kansas City Gift Show. We’ll continue to post sampling schedules for future trade shows. That way, wholesale buyers who find out about us from our website, and hope to see us at a particular trade show, will know which days we will be sampling the product(s) they are interested in purchasing. This isn’t a big thing, but it’s just one more way we’re able to help our customers. And every day we seem to discover a new way to use our blog to increase our business and improve our services.”

Three Angels Gourmet Co. Introduces “Angel Whispers” in Its Heavenly Gourmet Mixes

Gourmet food stores, gift shops, and Christian bookstores will soon be able to offer their customers gourmet mixes and inspirational messages in the same package.

(PRWEB) April 15, 2005 — With a name like the Three Angels Gourmet Co., and products that include a microwaveable single-serving Potato Cloud Soup Mix that can be neatly tucked into a get-well card, company owner Suzanne Lieurance knew her “heavenly gourmet mixes” were perfect for hospital gifts shops and Christian bookstores. “Our packages even include an attractive green bow on the label, so basically they are already gift wrapped,” said Lieurance. “Still, I felt we could do more to serve hospital gift shops, Christian bookstores, and gift shops in general.”

With that in mind, this spring Three Angels Gourmet will be introducing an “Angel Whisper” in each package of its gourmet mixes. Buyers will have two choices of Angel Whispers: comforting Scripture verses from God’s Word, or short uplifting poems written especially for Three Angels Gourmet by poet, Kay Reall. Upon request, mixes can also be ordered without Angel Whispers.

Marketing rep Debra Steiner tells gourmet gift buyers, “An Angel Whisper is almost like a miniature greeting card inside the mix. A Whisper, combined with the beautiful packaging and delicious product, makes for a miraculous present, ready for giving.”
